Jarrod's Story
When we first met Jarrod, he would avoid eye contact and speak quietly, if at all.
​
Jarrod lived at home and had few friends, no partner, and limited hobbies.
​
Yesterday Jarrod bounced into our office and proudly told us about his “own place”. He flashed a picture of his girlfriend receiving a prize and demonstrated steps of the rumba he had learnt in lessons with her.
He updated us on his driving lessons and spoke of his desire to travel, then he disappeared into the next office to share his excitement.
​
When Jarrod was alone in his room playing computer games he already had the skills, the desire and the ability to have a great life. Enable just supported him to get there.

With the right support workers, the right plan, and the right attitude, anything is possible.
Chris' Story
Chris told us that he had a real passion for hospitality and food and that he wanted to be more involved in the industry.
​
We wanted to give him the best opportunities to succeed and to show him that he could do anything he wanted.
​
He applied for a Certificate in Hospitality and worked really hard to get the qualifications he needed. It wasn't always easy as Chris has trouble with reading and critical thinking.
​
However, Chris ended up achieving his goals and received his certificate. He has been working in the hospitality industry for the last year and has plans to open up his own business one day.
​
With the right motivcation, any goal is achievable.
